Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence Awareness

Well October is here again. It seems like it was just yesterday when I was writing a post for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Again we must take care of ourselves and our love ones. If you have not been checked, please do. There are places such as Breast Care for Washington that offer low cost options for screenings.

Encourage your mother, sister, daughter, friend and love ones to do it for themselves and those  that depend on their hugs, kisses, advice, and presence. The-Pink-Ribbon-breast-cancer-awareness-372389_792_1056.jpg copy

Recently I also learned it was Domestic Violence Awareness as well.  It is a tough subject to talk about and often the victims remain silent. It may be because they are embarrassed or too scared to tell anyone.  If you need help, click the link to find services in DC  Find Help DC Coalition.
